- Evans House was rated the number one priority
in King County's 2003 Continuum of Care application to the US Dept of
Housing and Urban Development
- The building operates with licensed mental
health case managers on site, working exclusively with the 75 residents
- This innovative model brings Medicaid funds to
cover
the service costs for residents and provide them with the same quality
of care enjoyed by other DESC supportive housing projects
- Opened in October 2007, Evans House provides
24-hour staffing to offer the support and treatment necessary for
residents to remain housed for the long-term, ending their tenures on
the streets and in shelters
