Community events are an important part of DESC's mission to end homelessness.
They present an opportunity for us to reach out and share vital information with our supporters. By attending special events, neighborhoods and communities can learn more about our clients' needs, the work we do, how all of this impacts their lives and how you can make a difference.
Gimme Shelter 2017 combines the best of both our annual spring events - high-energy musical entertainment from our Gimme Shelter concert and thought-provoking programming from our annual gala - for a truly inspirational evening highlighting the great work DESC does every day. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and the program beginning at 7 p.m. Standing room tickets include light appetizers, and table seats include dinner.
