By donating inkind items or sponsoring a gift drive for DESC, you make holidays brighter for our most vulnerable and marginalized neighbors.

You can help

bring holiday happiness in the form of a small gift to the men and women in our shelters and housing projects (over 1,000 people this year!)

collect the dishes, blankets and other household items that DESC will need to house 200 new residents in 2007 — men and women who are now homeless.

share the following donation ideas with your friends, family, co-workers or members of your faith or civic organization.

new socks small bottles of lotion chapstick/lip balm chocolates & candy gift certificates /cards ($3 -$5) restaurants - McDonalds, Subway coffee- Starbucks, Tully's or, contribute towards the purchase of one complete gift box valued at $8 DESC will distribute gifts to 1,000 current clients this holiday season. Your gifts will bring joy to homeless men and women this holiday season. We need your contribution of gift items by Monday, December 18 in order to distribute them to homeless and formerly homeless people in time for the holidays.

All items must be dropped off at our offices located at 515 Third Ave btwn James St and Yesler Way), Seattle WA 98104.
