Community Partner Bring your business, religious group or organization to join DESC in our mission to end homelessness one person at a time. Groups regularly help with cleaning, give aways and other special projects. To properly plan a group project please allow for one month. Groups can choose to build a longer relationship with DESC and the people we serve. Recurring groups can be arranged on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Service Celebration Get together with your friends, colleagues and family and celebrate the abundance in your life by giving back and being of service! Opportunities include hosting a household item drive in lieu of gifts for a housewarming party, having a birthday bake off at our place or yours and sharing the tasty treats, or being a secret Santa for homeless men and women who are in need of good cheer.
Joy Club Support DESC shelter guests, residents and staff with a burst of joy by participating in a one time volunteer activity with others. Check back for future opportunities.
