DESC’s annual benefit concert and program spotlight, Gimme Shelter, takes place October 24 from 6-10p.m.! We hope you’ll join us at the Georgetown Ballroom to learn about our work to end homelessness in Seattle, connect with dedicated community members, and enjoy local live music!
We’re kicking off the evening with a FREE Program Spotlight focused on our unique Stability Through Access and Resources (STAR) Center. A behavioral health-focused shelter, the STAR Center meets people where they are and supports their individual path to recovery with access to psychiatric providers, dedicated enrollment specialists, and stable shelter.
Then, we’ll dance the night away with local band Billy Joe & the Dusty 45s, with special guest Danny Godinez! This lively concert will be ticketed and proceeds directly support our mission to end chronic homelessness through our housing, healthcare, and crisis response programs.
