Sept. 22 is our live screening

Impact Short Film Festival, Sept. 22, 7 p.m., live screening at Ark Lodge Cinema and Sept. 23, 7 p.m., virtual via Zoom.

You be the judge of the best films at the second annual Impact Film Festival. We’re showing the films on two nights this year: in person at the Ark Lodge Cinema in Columbia City on Sept. 22, 7 p.m., then an identical screening over Zoom the following night, Sept. 23, 7 p.m.

Both events are free :

Register for the in-person screening on Sept. 22 here.

To watch the virtual screening on Sept. 23, register here.

The film festival features short films from around the globe, because homelessness is a global crisis. We’ve watched 1,200 film submissions to choose our finalists! You’ll see films from 10 different countries, and vote for those which evoke the most compassion, that best portray social justice and the film that best shows how an individual or we as a society can make an impact on homelessness and poverty. We’ll tally the votes from both nights and declare a winner on Monday, Sept. 26. Each film is 10 minutes long or less–short in length, but huge in impact.
