DESC is almost ready to have clients move into Steven’s Place and we need your help to make our 109 incoming tenants feel at home in their apartments right away!
Bedding, kitchen, bathroom supplies and other items transform empty apartments into comfortable homes. With your donations we can buy these household goods that are essential to easing our clients’ transition into their new permanent homes, and we are so grateful for your support in making them feel at home.

The whole family can participate in setting up an apartment!
November 8th, Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This special family-friendly event for apartment adopters includes activities such as making welcome signs, games and safe snacks for all.
Donate, and we’ll set it up
If you’d like to donate without setting up an apartment, SPONSOR an apartment at Steven’s Place!
Sponsoring an apartment means that your donation will purchase supplies and materials that another volunteer will set up in-person.
Send in a “Welcome Home” sign!
Download and print the following “Welcome Home” coloring page to color and add a warm, handmade touch to welcome incoming Steven Place residents. This is a great chance to share what your support makes possible with the friends, loved ones and children in your life! You do not need to participate in apartment adoptions to send in a finished coloring page.
