Celebrate DESC Green Lake virtual groundbreaking!

Save Tuesday, Feb. 22, 11 a.m., for a free virtual groundbreaking event for our new affordable housing development, DESC Green Lake, in Seattle’s Aurora-Licton Springs neighborhood. Register for the Zoom event here.

DESC is preparing to build an affordable housing development in the Aurora-Licton Springs neighborhood of Seattle, located at 8610 Aurora Avenue North. We plan to begin construction on a new building in February 2022. DESC is working with Sustainable Living Innovations (SLI), which will employ a panelized approach to this building’s design and construction. When complete, the new building will feature approximately 124 studio units of affordable housing with supportive services and indoor/outdoor community spaces for the tenants, single adults who are disabled and formerly homeless. DESC will continue to own and operate the building after completion.

We will update this webpage as the project proceeds.
